Airlie Race Course
Warrenton, VA
The 82nd running of the Warrenton Hunt Point-to-Point Races on Saturday, March 18, 2023 was a wonderful day of racing and camaraderie.
The Warrenton Hunt is grateful to an anonymous donor for their Presenting Race Sponsorship and in honor of that sponsorship, would like to extend its sincere appreciation to all the landowners that make foxhunting in this area possible.
Since 1887, Warrenton has been the center of Virginia’s storied Hunt County. While properties have changed hands and open spaces have been reconfigured, the sport of foxhunting exists because of the continuing and gracious generosity of the farmers and neighbors who permit us to ride over the countryside.
This kindness is an honor which the Warrenton Hunt respects and treasures. We extend our profound gratitude to our 2023 Anonymous Presenting Race Sponsor and all the landowners who continue to make the sport of foxhunting possible.
We were proud to dedicate the 2023 race to Brian Hogan, for the person he is, and the tireless support he has given to the sport of steeplechase racing.
