We are a private, subscription-based group offering foxhunting,
hunter paces, steeplechasing, and other social activities throughout the
year.
During the hunting season, we meet on Monday, Wednesday and
Saturday mornings between early September and late March at various
fixtures in Fauquier, Culpeper, and Rappahannock counties.
We welcome visitors who may hunt with the permission of the Masters up to 3 times each season.
The rural countryside of Fauquier County, Virginia is lovely and picturesque. With rolling hills, horse farms, and quaint small towns, it is easy to see why so many people are drawn to this area.
We are deeply grateful to the landowners who graciously continue to allow us access to their properties. Without their support, the future of foxhunting would be in jeopardy. We are committed to doing our part in preserving the rural landscape for future generations.
As one of the oldest fox-hunting organizations in the country, we are committed to preserving the tradition of foxhunting for future generations.
Our subscribers enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals who share a love of the outdoors and of foxhunting.
We support the goals of Fauquier County to remain an agricultural region and encourage business with local farmers.
Subscribers follow a strict code of ethics that includes respecting the environment and treating animals humanely.
“There is no greater feeling of exhilaration than galloping across a field with your thirty best friends on a crisp, fall morning chasing after the pack of hounds who are inevitably being outsmarted by that sly little fox!”
As a subscriber, you’ll not only enjoy the exhilaration of galloping through our beautiful territory in Northern Virginia, but you’ll also help preserve the experience for future generations.
