Trail Ride #1

Great Meadow The Plains, VA

90 minute trail ride led by former Great Meadow Director Robbie Banner. We will walk around the Polo fields, Cross-country course, jumping arena, and, of course, the Gold Cup Steeplechase Course.

Park in the gravel polo parking lot
Two waivers required – WH waiver and Great Meadow waiver
Tailgate breakfast provided after trail ride
Cost: $30, online payment option.

Driving/Parking Directions:

From Warrenton
travel Hwy 17 north toward The Plains

Turn right on Old Tavern Rd

Turn right into first Great Meadow (polo) Entrance

Park in gravel lot next to the polo arena on the immediate right

Trail Ride #3

Weston

Directions:

From Warrenton

Take Meetze Road for approximately 4 miles.

Turn LEFT onto Casanova Road (616) for approximately 1 mile.

Turn LEFT onto Weston Road over the railroad tracks and continue straight for 1 mile, through stone gate posts following road to parking beyond house and barns.

Directions:

From Rt 17, turn onto Rt 245 (Old Tavern Road) and turn into Entrance 2. Parking will be on the gravel lot used for Twilight Polo. Hoses are available for washing down afterwards.

Rules & Guidelines

Each trail ride will begin promptly at stated time.
Riders are to be mounted and assembled for an introduction and welcome by the Master.
Attire is casual.
ASTM Certified Helmet Required
