Aug 18 Elmwood Farm – 6pm, Poolside drinks to follow
Aug 25 Great Meadow – 9am, Refreshments to follow at Polo Arena

Trail Ride #1

Farley

Brandy Station, VA

Directions:

29 SOUTH to RIGHT on Alanthus Road (663). RIGHT on Farley Road (679). Continue through stone columns and Brandy Rock Farm sign. Fork RIGHT and cross over cattle guard. At Brandy Rock Road stay STRAIGHT and enter the driveway at Farley c1790 farm sign. Park in the field on LEFT in front of the house.
ALT: 211 WEST to 229 SOUTH. ¼ mile past Rixeyville, LEFT on Ryland Chapel Road (640), RIGHT on 625 (Mt Zion Church Road – street sign is missing). LEFT on Alanthus Road (663). LEFT on Farley Road (679). Continue through stone columns and Brandy Rock Farm sign. Fork RIGHT and cross over cattle guard. At Brandy Rock Road stay STRAIGHT and enter the driveway at Farley c1790 farm sign. Park in the field on LEFT in front of the house.

Black Horse Stables

8565 Lee Hwy Warrenton, VA

Directions:

Take Route 211 WEST from Warrenton to a LEFT onto Route 681 (Holtzclaw Road). Entrance to the field on the LEFT is .4 miles from Route 211 and just past Hillsborough Lane which is on the RIGHT.

Elmwood Farm

8305 Old Dumfries Road, Catlett, VA

Directions:

From 15/17/29, head SOUTH on 605 (Dumfries Rd) for 4.6 miles. Turn RIGHT on Taylor Rd, for .5 miles, then Left onto Route 667 (Old Dumfries Rd). Driveway is .8 miles on the left. Park in field on the left as you come up the driveway

Directions:

From Rt 17, turn onto Rt 245 (Old Tavern Road) and turn into Entrance 2. Parking will be on the gravel lot used for Twilight Polo. Hoses are available for washing down afterwards.

Rules & Guidelines

Each trail ride will begin promptly at stated time.
Riders are to be mounted and assembled for an introduction and welcome by the Master.
Attire is casual.
ASTM Certified Helmet Required
